September Holidays Kids Canoeing and Kayaking Club

Send your kids to do something awesome this school holidays and let them join us for some fun on the water!

Over the course of five days the young paddlers will paddle canoes and kayaks, learn rescue and navigation skills, play canoe polo and go on a half day expedition. All while making friends and having fun. 

Complete beginner or more advanced paddler there are new skills and activities to be experienced by all. 

Each day starts at 9 am and ends at 12 pm, with a break around 10:30 am for morning tea.

We provide a morning tea of hot chocolate & biscuits Monday - Thursday and smores on our expedition day!

Timetable (subject to weather conditions on the day)

Monday: Introductions, kayaking (sit on top/sit in depending on previous experience), on water  kayaking skills and games.

Tuesday: Canoeing (tandem one blade paddling), on water canoeing skills and games.

​

Wednesday: Navigation on the water and paddle sport rescue skills.

Thursday: Canoe Polo skills and game

Friday: Half day expedition (AusPaddlers can book into just this day to complete their level 1 expedition requirements).

All participants must bring a change of clothes, towel, any personal medication and sunscreen. Participants must wear clothes they don't mind getting wet. No jeans or down jackets are allowed on the water. Any personal snacks must be NUT FREE.
