Our adult kayaking classes are open to anyone 18 and older. Each session is conducted by passionate instructors committed to sharing their love of kayaking. The classes are designed to provide you with essential skills for safe trips on the water, beginning with complete beginners in level 1 and progressing to more advanced paddlers in subsequent levels. No previous kayaking experience is necessary for level 1, and a basic level of fitness is all that's required. To join level 2 or higher, you must have completed the previous level or have equivalent skills. If you need assistance in choosing the right level for you, please contact us.
Adult Classes
Level 1 $265
Class info: This is the class for absolute beginners. You will learn all the skills needed to paddle a sit on top kayak in calm enclosed flat water environments.
Location: West Fyans Street Boat Ramp, Newtown
Location Facilities: Parking, toilets, changing rooms,
Class Dates : Feb 1 - Mar 1, 12:30 - 2 pm. Saturdays.​
Level 2 $265
Class info: Completed the level 1 course and want more or already have basic skills? In level 2 you learn all you need to paddle along flat water rivers and lakes incl. self rescues!

Level 3 $265
Class info: Ready to progress to a sit in kayak? In level 3 you transfer your flat water skills to sit in kayaks and start learning about more challenging water bodies.
Location: West Fyans Street Boat Ramp, Newtown and 1 location in Greater Geelong decided by the group.

What to bring
